A. Call to Order
Metzler called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m.

No alternates were seated.
D. New Business
No one was present to represent the applicant. Yorgensen said that two intermittent stream crossings are necessary. Curtis Brooks will not be crossed. Yorgensen said that Assistant Agent Jones will look at the application and report back to the Commission.

1. W#2005-18 – Application to conduct a timber harvest on property south of Jared Sparks
Road just east of its intersection with Cosgove Road (Map 32, Lot 5-B). Owners: Eugene
& Marie Pal; Applicant: Hull Forest products, Attention: Eric Johnson. (Received 6/13/05;
Decision by 7/25/05.)
Tabled until the next meeting.
2. Cease and Desist Order issued to Joseph Voboril
re: Clover Springs Subdivision, Wetlands Permit #W2004-04 off Battye Road
Yorgensen said that Karl Acimovic has been going out and looking at what’s been done. He feels the situation is under control. Schreiber asked if comments from Karl Acimovic or Dave Askew have been received, and Yorgensen replied that we have nothing on file. The Commission requested weekly inspection reports from Karl Acimovic and a report from staff before the next meeting.
3. File #2003-49 – Notice of Violation – TravelCenters of America (the Lessee) and George
Giguere of Royce Properties (the Owner) of property located at 327 Ruby Road.
Yorgensen said we are still awaiting details on the February 2003 spill.

1. Letter dated 6/9/05 from W. David LeVasseur, Intergovernmental Policy Division, State of
Connecticut Undersecretary, Office of Policy and Management
re: Conservation and Development Plan for Connecticut 04-09
2. Membership application for CT Assn. of Conservation and Inland Wetlands Commissions
Training Program: 2001 Summary Report
Correspondence was reviewed. Dirrigl said he will report on the Wetlands Commissioners training meeting at the July 11 meeting.
I. Approval of Minutes
Dirrigl requested that the paragraph under “File #2003-49 – Notice of Violation” in the June 13 minutes be removed.
MOTION: To approve minutes of June 13, 2005 as amended.
